Consultation by Leicester City Council

Leicester City Council is proposing changes to the adult social care services provided by the voluntary and community sector, and also proposing to introduce a Prevention and Wellbeing Grant Fund to help prevent people from developing social care needs.  Service users, parents and carers are requested to give their views by completing the online surveys.

Funding Update

The Monday Club has received a grant from the Big Lottery Awards for All.  This will enable us to run a Passport to Health and Wellbeing project to help our members to be more active and to eat healthily.

Open Evening – 27 March

The Monday Club would like to thank all who came to the Club on Monday evening to help make our Open Evening such a success.  We raised just over £213.

Donations Requested

As a result of the Government's austerity programme, we have lost 50% of our funding.  If we cannot find funds, we may be forced to close the Club.  Therefore, we are looking for donations to enable us to continue to provide this valuable service to our members.
