About The Monday Club

The Monday Club is a social group based in Leicester for adults aged 18–65 who have Asperger Syndrome. The Club is based at the Leicestershire Centre for Integrated Living, Leicester, and members meet on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.

We aim to create a supportive environment for our members to meet, either in a mainstream setting or in the community, with trained staff and volunteers available to offer support where necessary.

We provide a variety of enjoyable activities for our members and offer the opportunity to meet others with Asperger Syndrome and to develop friendships and mutual support through structured activity evenings.

The club is funded by the City and County social service and works with them to identify and provide services to adults with Asperger Syndrome.

Club Activities

The Monday Club offers a variety of activities including quizzes, board games, arts and crafts, bingo, DVD evenings and computing.

We offer activities that take place in the community, which include visits to local pubs and restaurants, pool evenings, bowling and visits to local areas of interest.

We also offer Social skills evenings, which provide members with the opportunity to develop social awareness in everyday situations using role play and group discussion.
